Stump for video concept idea for your business, as a video production company in Boston, we recommend you to go watch TV!
What I’m saying is TV is a pretty neat source for ideas… Creative ideas. A lot of times I like to watch tv for the commercials. Yeah I know, I’m weird but it’s true. I like to see what’s out there of how companies finding ways to communicate their brand, service, message, or whatever they’re trying to present to the audience listens to what they’re saying. (Side plug, it’s something we pride on focusing on clients is to ensure they’re being seen and heard).
So when it came time to come up with some fun marketing ideas for the holidays we recall the cartoons, (Charlie Brown Christmas Specials, Snoopy, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer) and those old variety shows, we’d watch growing up. Donny & Marie, Bob Hope, The Mandrell sisters.
We came up with a series of Christmas videos, parody, tongue, and cheek of those old Xmas specials, named after me. “The Rob Lee Christmas special” What’s great about this format, is the opportunity to do music research of finding a catchy, tune with that right nostalgic holiday feel. Here’s another variation of a comedic tone with a BTS feel, titled, “NO Man!”
The whole purpose was to celebrate the holidays, poke fun at ourselves and indirectly convey that making videos is not a scary thing, and it’s ok to have fun. If you don’t believe us, watch the video(s) and let us know. Even better if you made some for your business and like to share with us your experience or even your videos yourself, we’d love to hear about it. 🙂
Oh and Happy Holidays and here’s to a great 2018!!!
