With any talk, the key is preparation. The more you’re prepared the less nervous you’ll be… That works in theory. Tomorrow’s the big day, where we’ll be interviewed on the “Sounds of Business” with Sidney Yules over at the UR Business Network. For those that’s not familiar with the program, the Sounds of Business talks about all business related subjects in the music industry. Music videos is a topic that is of big interest to the listeners. We’ve done some work, most notably the live performances of Age of End and One Time Mountain last year with Dark White Media, We’ve had the pleasure to lend a hand with Dark White Media‘s Music video shoot for Ashley Jordan. We’ve also done some music documentaries on Chris Trapper and The Birthday Suicide for Brookline Access Television. The approach to market music videos is no different than marketing product videos or health care videos, or even commercial videos, There’s plenty for us to talk about. So why am I nervous about tomorrow? Why have the butterflies run amok in my stomach? I really don’t know. Maybe it’s the fear of not relating to people? Or maybe I’d have a brain freeze and forget what to say? Probably a classic case of just over-thinking and forgetting to look at things in a positive light… Guess a hot cup of tea may help relax the ole nerves before I go back to preparing for tomorrow.
But if you were in my shoes, would you be nervous? If not why? And what would be the first thing you’d talk about? Let us know, we’ll be listening. 🙂
