I’ll admit I had originally planned to release the footage exclusively in an e-mail campaign to generate buzz and interest to our site. I had sent the video over to the great folks at Wistia for their opinion. Kirsten Craft from Wistia astutely asked (and suggested), “Out of curiosity, why aren’t you planning to share this on any of your social channels? .I had replied to her, with the “generating buzz” response, but after much thought, this type of strategy wasn’t a right fit. If the video offer specific content to a specific audience (such as an article of how to use a special technique to grow corn to farmers) it would be one thing. However it’s a video geared to a general audience.
So Kristen, you are right, and for that, this Funny Footage Friday is dedicate to you and the staff at Wistia.
So without further adieu, here’s a bonus “homemade edition” of Funny Footage Friday. #funnyfootagefriday, #fff
Do you agree with us agreeing with Kristen that the video was meant for social media channel? If not why? Let us know, we’d love to hear what you think.
