Besides my production work, the next best thing I love is hunting down a killer buy. Especially when it comes to investing equipment for my business. This past week I came across this great deal for Lowel lights. It’s an earlier model, but a great piece to add to my Lowel light kit. After I had won the bid, I later learned that James (the seller) was from the same state. Since he wasn’t far, we made arrangements to meet and to forego the hassles of shipping it. When I drove to his place to pick up the ights, he described his place as a yellow building with maroon trim. Naturally I presumed that it is a residential home. Boy was I wrong. When I arrived at the address, there was a vintage railroad car, sitting right next to a freight house with yellow and a maroon trim. When I met him, I learned he’s the President of the Bedford Depot Park. It was a really nice surprise, for not only I picked up a great light kit, but had a nice time meeting with him and had a tour of the park. Oh! If you’re a biker, you’ll love this. The popular Minuteman parkway passes through the Freight house. I would go on, but the words just wouldn’t do it justice to explain how spectacular place it is.For more information, just click on the photo of me below. (Yes that is the vintage railroad train next to me that I spoke of. )
